But the biomass left over from farming also aids the production of the next crop and whethers its till or no till its needed. If you remove the biomass than the farmer might have to replace it at a greater cost than what he gets for the biomass he sells. Sulfur was once free because of air pollution and now sometimes the farmer has to buy it. All good ideas but lifecycle cost need to be considered..
